GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

A 3D Piping Modeler  position is available with Garney Construction. To be considered for this position, you must have previous BIM/VDC experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, or similar software.
• Coordinate closely with engineering and design teams to interpret design intent and translate it into constructible models.
• Generate piping layouts, isometric drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) from 3D models.
• Integrate piping systems with structural, architectural, and other MEP models to identify and resolve clashes.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and company standards.
• Participate in model reviews and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Update models to reflect as-built conditions and incorporate redline markups.
• Support field and fabrication teams with detailed visualizations and spool drawings.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination within the AEC industry
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and understanding specifications.
• Must be able to review take-off quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates and review drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions.
