MED-Star Ambulance is a family owned and operated 911 EMS and Inter facility transport service located in Brandon, S.D.

We are currently seeking dispatchers, both full and part-time.

This position requires the ability to work all shifts during various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Standard work week is 36 hours full time and 12-36 hours part time.

Position Summary: MED-Star Ambulance dispatchers serve as the first point of contact for requesting entities who are seeking assistance with their emergency, non-emergency, and service request calls.

After receiving a call, the dispatcher must establish the nature and location of call(s), determine its priority, and dispatch the appropriate EMS Transport unit.

Job Requirements

Applicant needs to have above average organizational skills. Computer skills with Word and Excel necessary, great communication, written and oral with phone and radio communication skills essential. Applicant needs to be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, have a positive attitude, and be able to work well with others. If you possess these skills, we may have a spot for you!
