Adelphi is seeking experienced Anesthesiologists to provide services at an academic medical facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Requirements:
- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved residency training program in Anesthesiology.
- Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or in the certification process.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Expertise in general anesthesia or subspecialty areas such as ambulatory, cardiovascular/thoracic, neurosurgical, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and transplant anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services across multiple clinical areas, including ambulatory, cardiovascular/thoracic, obstetrical, neurosurgical, pediatric, regional, and transplant anesthesia.
- Independently manage anesthesia care and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Supervise and mentor medical trainees, including residents and SRNAs.
- Collaborate with CRNAs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Perform invasive procedures, including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and line placements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching and clinical research (preferred).
