Gifted Hands Homecare Agency LLC in beautiful Defuniak Springs, Florida, is expanding our team! We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate  Part-Time and PRN Caregivers to provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

• Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.

• Prepare Nutritious Meals: Assist with basic meal preparation, ensuring clients receive healthy and satisfying food.

• Medication Reminders: Provide timely medication reminders to ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.

• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.

• Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.

• Personal Supervision and Companionship: Offer attentive personal supervision and engage in meaningful conversations and activities to brighten clients' days.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

Service Areas: We serve clients in Walton County and Okaloosa County.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals is required.

• Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to and from client homes.

• Valid Documents: A current and valid driver’s license and up-to-date car insurance are mandatory.

• Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a Level 2 background check.

• Compassion and Empathy: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, understanding nature.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to varying schedules and client needs.

• Vaccination: While vaccination is a plus, it is not a requirement for this position.
