Job Description

Ceros & Motion Graphics Designer TRVJP5732

12 Month Contract

Hybrid in Hartford, CT preferred

Hartford Office (2 day/in office 3 days) ideal, but open to remote as well

Working 40 hours, 5 days a week.

This position will be part motion graphics and part interactive/ceros (more focus on the interactive/ceros side)

CEROS/INTERACTIVE RESPONSIBILITES:

• Will work under the guidance of the Art Directors working only on interactive on the platform – CEROS

• Develop concepts and designs while keeping in mind the strategic business goals of the project as well accessibility compliance

• Design according to specific brand guidelines

• Collaborate with other team members

• Multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and work independently

• Work on multiple projects with constantly changing deadlines

• Image searching, retouching, and manipulation

• Passion for design

• Self-starter capable of delivering creative ideas

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

MOTION RESPONSIBILITES:

• Strong foundation in design principles like color theory, typography, and layout

• Take an initial concept to the next level with motion graphics and animations, including 2D and 3D animations

• History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions

• Image searching, retouching, and manipulation

• Design according to specific brand guidelines

• Develop concepts and designs while keeping in mind the strategic business goals of the project as well accessibility compliance

• Organize and maintain files, including following best practices for version control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files

• Work in close collaboration with stakeholders, designers, marketing managers and throughout all phases of project development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree, B.A/B.F.A., or equivalent experience preferred

• Proficient in Creative Cloud (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) CEROS, Wireframing, interactive builds, UI/UX and HTML/CSS

• Minimum of 1 year experience in digital design

• An exceptional on-line portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions.
