• Night Shift : 4x12-Hour (17:00 05:30)

• Start times may include: 06:00, 08:00, 15:00, 17:00

• Self-scheduling based on seniority

• Weekend Requirement : Pending

• Block Schedule : Per unit need

• On-Call : Not required

• Start Date : 07/14/2025

Important Note: Must be open to all shift times. Specific shift requests cannot be accommodated.
Facility may cancel up to one shift per two-week pay period.

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and flexible CT Technologist to join their dynamic diagnostic imaging team. The technologist will perform high-quality CT procedures on a variety of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires excellent clinical skills, adaptability to multiple start times, and a commitment to patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of CT imaging procedures including trauma, neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, chest, and vascular studies.

• Administer contrast media under appropriate safety protocols and assess for reactions.

• Maintain imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety standards, and ensure accurate documentation in PACS*.

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for optimal imaging outcomes.

• Follow isolation protocols and patient safety guidelines during imaging and transport.

Key Requirements:

• Must be open to working any shift time , including early mornings, evenings, and overnight.

• First-time travelers are accepted.

• Community hospital experience required.

• Patient ratio: 1:1

• Must provide RTO at time of submission.

• No floating and no call required.

• Locals accepted at the same rate.

Qualifications Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (2 years preferred)

• Strong experience with a variety of protocols including emergency, outpatient, and trauma imaging

License/Certifications:

• BLS Required

• ARRT (R) Required

• ARRT (CT) Required

• California CRT Required

• CT Certification Required

Skills Body Systems & Exam Types:

• Abdomen & Pelvis (with/without contrast)

• Chest (with/without contrast, PE protocols, CTA)

• Spine (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)

• Head and Neck (CT Brain, orbits, facial bones)

• Musculoskeletal trauma

• Vascular CTA (chest, aorta)

• Special procedures: aspirations*, biopsies*, drainage*, brain perfusion*, coronary CTA*

Work Settings:

• Adult Acute Care

• Emergency Department

• Adult Outpatient

Professional Knowledge:

• Preparation/administration of contrast media

• Radiation safety and ALARA principles

• Infection control and isolation precautions

Equipment Experience:

• GE CT scanners

• Toshiba CT scanners

• PACS* (e.g., Fuji Synapse)
