Please Note: We are currently hiring for a full-time schedule of
Saturday–Wednesday or
Sunday–Thursday , with shifts scheduled
anytime between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM . Applicants
must be able to use their personal vehicle to transport individuals supported during community activities (mileage reimbursement provided).
What You’ll Do as a DSP: - Provide compassionate, person-centered support throughout daily routines—this includes personal care, skill-building, and participation in community outings and events.
- Support the development of essential life skills such as money management, social interaction, building and maintaining relationships, healthy decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Assist individuals build meaningful connections within their communities by encouraging participation, creating inclusive opportunities, and guiding access to local resources and events.
- Advocate for individual rights, choices, dignity, and self-determination, ensuring each person’s voice is heard and respected.
- Provide hands-on assistance with transportation, medication administration, and accurate documentation in compliance with agency standards.
What We’re Looking for in a Direct Support Professional: - Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required – we provide training!
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
