Director of IDD Services

💼 Full-Time | $80,000–$90,000 + Bonus Potential

🕒 Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Occasional Weekends

We are a mission-driven organization committed to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through community-based services and employment support. We are seeking a dynamic Director of IDD Services to lead our growing programs with vision, compassion, and operational excellence.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll oversee service delivery, regulatory compliance, team development, and strategic partnerships. If you’re passionate about inclusion, independence, and making a difference — we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Program Oversight & Compliance

• Direct and manage disability support programs (Supported Employment, Community-Based Supports, Goods & Services, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) regulations and Medicaid waiver requirements
• Develop and implement person-centered policies and best practices

🔹 Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Direct Support Professionals and program managers
• Conduct trainings, evaluations, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability

🔹 Community & Employer Engagement

• Establish partnerships with schools, employers, workforce agencies, and service providers to expand opportunities for individuals served
• Serve as a key liaison for support coordinators, families, and community stakeholders

🔹 Quality & Financial Management

• Oversee program budgets and reporting
• Implement quality assurance systems to drive continuous improvement and client success

What You Bring:

✅ Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or related field (required)

✅ 8+ years in IDD services, including 4+ years in a leadership role

✅ In-depth knowledge of NJ DDD regulations, Medicaid waiver programs, and person-centered planning

✅ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

✅ Valid NJ driver’s license and ability to travel locally
