Eaglewood Event Center Assistant

Position Summary:
The Event Center Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the success of events held at the Eaglewood Golf Course Event Center. Under the general supervision of the General Manager and Event Center Coordinator, this position is responsible for event setup, customer assistance, and ensuring the facility is prepared and maintained to meet client needs.

This is a part-time position offering flexible hours (5-15 hours per week) and is ideal for someone seeking a dynamic job that works around their availability. No prior experience is necessary, but strong problem-solving skills, a personable attitude, and a willingness to assist with various tasks are essential.

Essential Functions:

Event Setup and Takedown:

• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and other equipment for events.
• Safely move items weighing 10-60 lbs with assistance as needed.
• Ensure the Event Center is clean and organized before and after events.

Customer Assistance:

• Assist clients with audio and video equipment setup, provide basic training, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Attend to customer needs during events to ensure a smooth experience.
• Be onsite for events to provide assistance and address any issues promptly.

Facility Operations:

• Perform opening and closing procedures for the Event Center.
• Assist catering operations with food service if needed.
• Showcase the Event Center to potential clients, answering questions and providing tours.
• Help prepare the facility for upcoming events, including setup, cleaning, and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing 10-60 lbs with assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and managing event needs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
• Passing a background and drug test upon job acceptance.
