Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Description As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating contract changes and exploring new reimbursement models through sophisticated financial modeling. You will be responsible for analyzing managed care contracts to ensure financial optimization and compliance, and you'll produce impactful reports and presentations for senior leadership. This role requires you to provide strategic insights into key financial metrics and contract performance, supporting cross-functional teams with managed care analytics and forecasting. Responsibilities + Perform financial modeling to evaluate contract changes and new reimbursement models. + Analyze managed care contracts to ensure financial optimization and compliance. + Produce high-impact reports and presentations for senior leadership. + Provide strategic insight into key financial metrics and contract performance. + Support cross-functional teams with managed care analytics and forecasting. + Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal standards. + Develop and deliver detailed financial presentations and reports tailored to leadership and stakeholders. + Prepare comprehensive project updates, including strategic insights and recommendations. + Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex analytical and operational challenges. + Standardize internal reporting tools and templates to improve reporting efficiency. + Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to drive process improvements. + Create and maintain Excel-based models to support data reporting and financial planning. + Translate complex data into actionable insights for program development and strategic initiatives. + Partner with leadership to identify informational needs and promote automated data access. Essential Skills + 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. + Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. + Advanced Excel skills. + In-depth knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD/Dx coding systems. + Experience in healthcare financial reporting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree. Work Environment This is a remote position, local to Los Angeles, with work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity within a multi-billion dollar hospital setting. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
