- Worksite Location: Remote
- Contract Duration: 5-months
- Compensation: $20-25/hour
What you'll do as a Financial Analyst: - Forecasting & Budgeting Support: Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts and accruals, annual budgets, and long-range plans. Help maintain financial models and scenario analyses.
- Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses comparing actuals to forecast/budget. Highlight key trends and insights.
- Data Management: Gather, validate, and organize financial and operational data from various systems and stakeholders to support planning and reporting activities.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting, procurement, operations) to gather inputs and ensure alignment on financial assumptions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
What you’ll bring to the Financial Analyst role: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance, accounting or other related discipline AND Seven (5+) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
OR
High School Diploma/GED from AND Fourteen (7+) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related discipline from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and financial modeling; experience with tools like Power BI and SAP is a plus
- Ability to deal with a complex business model in a global environment
- Strong financial acumen – ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
