Position Overview
As a Server/Host at Pearl Box, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests while also providing attentive, engaging table service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, can move seamlessly between greeting and seating guests, and delivering an exceptional dining and beverage experience.
Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and greet all guests upon arrival.
Manage reservations and walk-ins using our booking system.
Communicate wait times and seating arrangements clearly.
Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Deliver menu items promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service.
Collaborate with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining room and host stand.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
1+ years of hospitality experience (serving, hosting, or both) in a high-volume or upscale environment preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
A polished, professional, and friendly demeanor.
Familiarity with POS and reservation systems a plus.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to recognize notable celebrities and public figures, both within and outside the hospitality industry, is a plus — as you’ll often be the first point of contact at the door.
