Job Description:

Our well-known retail client is looking for an Illustrator to join their team for a 3-month brand refresh project!

What you'll do:

• Translate high-level style guidance into illustration systems for in-product use, with extensions into channels like email and lifecycle marketing.
• Create concept mockups to explore how illustration can elevate user experience and brand storytelling across key moments.
• Develop and maintain a scalable illustration library, including components, scenes, and spot art optimized for reuse across platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, content designers, and comms/partnership teams to ensure illustrations are contextually relevant and cohesive.
• Adapt and optimize illustrations for different surfaces (e.g., mobile, desktop, email), balancing fidelity with performance and accessibility.
• Contribute to documentation and guidance that help others apply the illustration system consistently.

What you'll need:

• 3-5 years of Illustrator experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator and Figma
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work well in a team-setting and collaborate with others
• Are able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 - $55/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
