Our tax department plays a vital role in our success, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Income Tax Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze complex income tax provisions under ASC 740 (both domestic and international).
  • Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns.
  • Research and analyze tax law updates to ensure compliance and identify potential tax benefits.
  • Maintain detailed tax records and documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Accounting) to ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Support the external audit process by providing information and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in income tax accounting, preferably within a large corporation or Big 4 Public Accounting Firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASC 740 accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP tax principles.
  • Experience with tax accounting software (e.g., corporate tax software).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
