Maintenance Inventory Coordinator

Location:North Chicago, IL
Starting Pay: $20.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and track inventory using enterprise software.
• Coordinate with vendors and purchasing teams to source and receive parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Organize and stage parts for maintenance work; ensure timely availability for repairs.
• Track parts usage, update records, and generate inventory reports.
• Maintain documentation for all transactions and follow safety procedures for handling materials.
• Support audits and compliance checks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control or parts ordering.
• Proficient with inventory software (such as SAP) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety and GMP procedures preferred.

Essential Functions

• Alternate between office work and moving throughout the facility.
• Operate computers and standard office equipment.
• Communicate with team members and vendors.
• Retrieve, organize, and label parts in storage.

Work Environment

• Indoor office and inventory areas.
• Occasional exposure to maintenance zones and storage rooms.
• PPE may be required for certain materials.

Schedule

• Full-time, onsite, Monday to Friday.
• Occasional overtime or weekends for inventory counts or audits.
