About The Role

Peraton has an opportunity for you to join our military intelligence program (s) of record to deliver, operate and sustain modernized, transformed data science/ data analysis environments worldwide that enable speedy and precise decision making to warfighters .

Responsibilities: 

Th e Junior Technical Editor utilizes skills for reviewing and editing technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy , and consistency . Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Review intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, s yntax, logic, clarity, and consistency. 
  • Ensure that style and format conform to publication standards and is consistent with style guides.
  • Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
  • Ensure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
  • Work with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and further revisions as appropriate .

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience or 7 years with no degree.
  • Familiarity with publishing software and tools.
  • Technical writing skills to produce and revise content.
  • Organization al and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with technical staff to produce and/or improve technical documentation .

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in the customer environment is preferred.

S ecurity C learance : 

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required t o hold this clearance.

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
