Job Title: Land Surveying Project ManagerJob Description Join a comprehensive engineering and consulting firm based in Raleigh with a rich heritage dating back to the 1950s. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional engineering, design, and surveying services to a diverse clientele. We offer a wide range of services including structural, geo-structural, and civil engineering, surveying and mapping, site planning, and landscape architecture. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or tenured Survey CAD Technician to support our land surveying team. This position promises high growth potential and the opportunity to gain additional responsibilities within our growing firm. Responsibilities + Lead and assist with survey data processing and mapping. + Perform quality control checks on survey CAD technicians' work. + Process and prepare field survey crew data. + Prepare boundary and topographic mapping. + Prepare As Built and ALTA mapping. + Perform computations for construction layout. + Communicate daily with field crews. Essential Skills + Proven experience in land surveying. + Project management expertise. + Proficiency in CAD, preferably Carlson software. + Survey drafting and mapping skills. + Ability to perform stormwater design, grading, and erosion control. + Knowledge in topography and topographic surveys. + Professional Engineer or EIT certification preferred. + Experience with construction stakeout and total station. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ten years of land surveying experience, with at least one year as a Surveying Project Manager. + Minimum of five years of experience using CAD. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Proven track record of successful survey project management. Work Environment Located in the N. Hills area, offering easy access without the main traffic congestion. The position prefers office attendance 3-4 days per week with the flexibility of working from home 1-2 days. Our firm provides state-of-the-art tools and expertise, including GPS, robotic total stations, and Survey Pro data collection software, along with the latest CAD software versions. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
