We are seeking a Locums Interventional Radiology Physician to provide coverage in a hospital setting in Springfield, OH. This role involves a full spectrum of community-based interventional procedures with a focus on biopsy and oncology cases.
Position Details
Practice Setting: Hospital
Call Schedule: 7 days per week
Annual ER Volume: 80,000
EMR System: Epic & PACS
Exam Rooms: 2 radiology rooms
Procedures Required
General community interventional radiology procedures
Strong biopsy and cancer-related interventions
Additional IR procedures as needed per hospital service
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures with high accuracy and quality.
Provide call coverage and support for emergency and inpatient needs.
Interpret imaging studies and collaborate with referring providers.
Document all procedures and encounters in Epic/PACS systems.
Requirements
Board Certified in Radiology
BLS and ACLS Certification
Active Ohio Medical License
Fellowship in Nuclear or Mammography preferred (close to OH acceptable)
DEA Registration
Strong procedural IR skills, particularly in biopsy and oncology cases
