Job Description

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Oil Field Mechanic to work on drilling rigs in the Northwest Regions of Texas and Eastern New Mexico.

Requirements

• Responsible for repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Norton’s fleet of drilling rigs
• 3 to 5 years experience with drilling rigs, heavy machinery, and repairing hydraulic equipment 
• Must be able to report to Levelland, TX Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm with on-call rotations
• Must be able to travel to job locations in the Eastern New Mexico and Northwest regions of Texas
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, climb, kneel, grasp, push, and pull
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must have a clean driving and criminal record

Preferred

• In-depth knowledge of equipment on drilling rigs
• Overhaul and repair to mud pumps and drawworks
