IPS Security is looking for a Security Operations Manager for our New York City region. The Security Operations Manager will be handling heavy phone use to contact and schedule employees for callouts by utilizing our employee database, as well as managing the day to day operations. The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for updating our online scheduling system, check up on personnel on post, dealing with daily operations with Clients, traveling from site to site to inspect the sites, and partnering with upper management.

This position requires flexibility in schedule to accommodate operational and site needs.

Salary: $64,350.00 annually

Responsibilities:

• Embrace ownership of all assigned sites, client communication and relationship
• Ensure consistent follow-up while also being responsible for traveling to various posts as needed to support operations.
• Capable of covering open posts and effectively managing multiple schedules.
• Ability to use a computer, enter basic data, and perform email functions.
• Ability to maintain accurate routine logs and reports.
• Able to follow all procedures and protocols consistently.
• Courteous telephone manner and ability to maintain professional composure at all times.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
• Good organizational and communicative skills..

Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a security operations manager or a field manager.
• High School graduate (some college education is preferred).
• Fire Life Safety experience preferred. 
• Must have good decision-making skills.
• WinTeam software experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule which is subject to change to include morning, afternoon and night shifts depending on the operational needs.
