Job Description

Position: QC Chemist II / III Location: Fall River, MA Type: Direct Placement | First Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) A growing pharmaceutical manufacturer in Fall River, MA is seeking experienced Quality Control Chemists to join their team. This is a direct placement opportunity offering competitive compensation and the chance to work in a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and raw material testing, and a strong understanding of cGMP and data integrity practices. Key Responsibilities + Perform routine and advanced analytical testing using instruments such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, ICP, and particle size analyzers. + Conduct raw material testing and release activities in compliance with regulatory standards. + Operate specialized lab equipment and perform wet chemistry techniques. + Lead and support investigation activities related to lab deviations or quality events. + Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, data integrity, and good documentation practices. + Collaborate with team members and department leadership to meet testing timelines and quality standards. + Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or related field); Master's degree preferred. + 2-5+ years of industry experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or biotech setting (co-op experience may be considered for entry-level). + Proficiency with analytical instruments including HPLC, GC-MS, Karl Fischer, ICP, and particle size analysis. + Strong understanding of GMP regulations and quality control procedures. + Excellent organizational, communication, and data analysis skills. + Ability to read, write, and communicate scientific information in English. + Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment. Preferred Qualifications + Experience leading investigations or contributing to CAPA activities. + Familiarity with raw material release processes and documentation systems. + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
