EDUCATION
- Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
WORK EXPERIENCE - Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - REQUIRED - RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure -- Compact Licensure - Must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency) AND
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) AND
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Instructor (AHA) within 4 months
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - PREFERRED - NIHSTROKE - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (AHA) -- if float to unit or taking care of pt req NIHSS within 4 months
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification
