Status: Full-Time | 36 hours per week | 6:45 pm 7:15 am | Every other weekend

Salary: $42.19 - $57.76 /Hourly

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Treatment Psychiatric Unit on a full-time night shift schedule. This role is ideal for a compassionate, team-oriented nurse who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health setting and is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

• Deliver safe, high-quality, and individualized patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Apply current nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and hospital protocols to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, patient assessments, and therapeutic support.
• Document all aspects of care accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Registered Nurse License (required).
• AHA BLS/CPR certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience OR active participation in a nurse residency program.

Required Skill Sets

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of psychiatric care principles and patient safety practices.
