Our client's partner hospital in Midland, MI is growing its  Cardiovascular OR team and is seeking a  Registered Nurse (RN)with  CVOR experience to support complex cardiac cases in a high-acuity surgical setting. This is a vital, fast-paced role with opportunities for leadership and growth as the team expands. What You’ll Do

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to open-heart surgical patients
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain sterile field and uphold strict patient safety protocols
• Assist with anesthesia support and surgical equipment preparation
• Coordinate surgical team activity and ensure timely workflow in the OR
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Accurately document procedures and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need

• Active RN license (Michigan or compact state – required)
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (perioperative or CVOR experience a plus)
• 2+ years in critical care or emergency preferred
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
