Dakota Vascular (DV) is looking for a clinic nurse to support our physicians. DV provides complete vascular care including varicose vein treatment, limb preservation, vascular surgery, and dialysis access. The RN/LPN will provide care to clinic patients with vascular conditions, disorders or diseases.
Outreach required. Will travel with the team approx. 4 days per month locations in South Dakota. No overnights, day trips only.
The duties include:
Patient Care and Assessment: Documenting vitals, medical history, med reconciliation, allergies and documenting patient symptoms. Scheduling procedures and entering patient orders. Abstracting records
Patient Education: Provide patient education regarding vascular conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self care techniques. Ensuring patients understand their conditions, treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
Documentation: maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient assessments, treatments, medications and other pertinent information. Adhere to legal and regulatory standards of documentation.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
