Pleasant, PA 15666, phone number: 724-547-5268, is looking to fill twenty-eight (28) Snow Removal and Holiday Light Laborers positions from 12/15/2025 to 03/31/2026 . This is for full-time, seasonal, temporary employment. Duties include: The workers will assist with the removal of snow and ice from properties and help install, maintain, and remove holiday lighting and decorations. The worker will perform snow removal tasks by shoveling snow from walkways, driveways, and entrances; operating snow blowers, salt spreaders, sidewalk machines, and other equipment; and applying de-icing materials to surfaces as needed. The job duties will be performed by hand or by operating a snow removal machine/vehicle, which includes tractors, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and/or work pick-up trucks. The employee may be required to drive work vehicles equipped with snowplows as needed, contingent upon the level of snow accumulation. The worker will perform Holiday D cor responsibilities such as assisting in the installation of holiday lights and decorations on buildings, trees, and landscape features; by using ladders and hand tools to hang lights and secure decorations; The worker will also help with take-down and storage of lighting materials after the holiday season; The worker will ensure all work is completed safely and professionally. Additionally, the worker, by using bypass pruners, hedge shears, or string trimmers, depending on the plant size, will be responsible for performing cutbacks on perennial plants. The worker will also perform winterizing irrigation systems to prepare for the changing seasons. The workers will be required to drive work vehicles to/from or at worksites. The worker will be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioning. The worker may be required to demonstrate how to perform an assignment to other employees at a supervisor's request. Special requirements : Requires 3 months of previous snow removal or related experience. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. Availability to work on weekdays and weekends when needed to perform snow removing duties. Availability to work on weekends as needed. Employer-paid drug testing before commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, post-accident. Post-hire background checks and employment eligibility (e-Verify) checks are required for foreign and domestic workers. Must be available for 7 days a week.
The pay is $25.93 per hour with overtime available at $38.9 per hour, based on hourly rate. The schedule is 35 hours per week from Mon.-Fri - 8 am to 5 pm (office hours) Mon.-Fri - 7 am to 2:30 pm (production) Weekends - occasionally due to weather. On call as needed. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.The requested temporary workers will be based at 250 Shultz Rd. Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666, and will service clients within the Pittsburgh, PA, Johnstown, PA, , Morgantown, WV, Weirton-Steubenville, WV-OH, Wheeling, WV-OH., Altoona, PA, Northwestern Pennsylvania nonmetropolitan area, Southwestern Pennsylvania nonmetropolitan area, Maryland nonmetropolitan area, including the counties of Allegheny County, PA; Armstrong County, PA; Bedford County, PA; Beaver County, PA; Blair County, PA; Butler County, PA; Cambria County, PA; Clarion County, PA; Fayette County, PA; Greene County, PA; Indiana County, PA; Lawrence County, PA; Somerset County, PA; Washington County, PA; and Westmoreland County, PA; Allegany County, MD; and Brooke County, WV; Hancock County, WV; Marshall County, WV; Monongalia County, WV; Ohio County, WV; and Preston County, WV.
Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Bi-Weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. Transportation, including meals and, tothe extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
