Job Description

Salary: $41,000 - 42,000 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience utilizing RPG languages (RPG, RPGLE, RPG III, RPG IV, and RPG Free) on the IBM iSeries platform is desired.
• Familiarity with SQL, Embedded SQL, and Visual Programming (Visual RPG) is advantageous.
• Experience interfacing AS400 with web applications is beneficial.
• Background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is preferred.
• EDI experience is a plus.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions are essential.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary, along with being organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• I will work collaboratively with users and management to identify optimal solutions for designing applications. This includes coding new software and enhancing existing programs. I am responsible for documenting any modifications made to applications, as well as testing and debugging both new and modified programs to guarantee quality. Additionally, I will resolve data issues by analyzing code and procedures and maintain the configuration of the IBM iSeries system. I may also take on other tasks as delegated by management.
