Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Anchorage, AK area. We're currently seeking dedicated Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist Assistants ($39-45/hr) to support students in the Anchorage, AK area for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications: Appropriate Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language PathologyCurrent AK SLPA license Role Overview:As an SLPA, you will assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.You will also implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists for students. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details: The caseload consists of schools in and around Anchorage with a variety of diagnosesTherapist will be working in a few schools within a short drive time radiusThe therapist will work 5 days a week 7.5 hours per day and enjoy the benefits of working a school calendar yearWe will help you relocate to the area!We also have contractors on assignment there who will be happy to talk with you about their experience Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
