Senior Go developer needs 4+ years developing with Go
Senior Go developer requires:
-Bachelors degree in technology or information systems or equivalent experience
-6-8+ years of related work experience
-4+ years developing with Go
-3+ years developing distributed applications
-3+ years developing using frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue), CSS, and HTML5
-1+ year experience with document databases, graph database experience is a plus
-1+ year experience using Docker to containerize applications
-Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestrators
-Experienced in developing RESTful web services
-Proficient in Powershell.
-Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible
-Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
-Experience with Genetec products - Omnicast and Synergis are a plus
-Strong interpersonal skills and written communication skills
-Java
-Very proficient with software development methods, Go programming, developing distributed applications, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue), CSS, and HTML5, DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and iterative development methodology such as Agile.

Senior Go developer duties:
-Analyze, custom code or configure, debug, test, and implement changes, configurations, version upgrades, etc within our Genetec OmniCast product
-Create detailed technical specifications, test plans, deployment instructions, and other technical documentation as needed.
-Supervise and assist with defect triage and resolution during QA, UAT, and performance testing.
-Ensure compliance with all development standards, including source control management and security coding standards.
-Conduct and supervise code peer review and documentation peer review.
-Provide implementation and post-implementation assistance with defect resolution.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 82.00 Per Hour
