Job Description:

The client is looking for a highly skilled professional to configure, develop, and support SAP FS-RI (Financial Services - Reinsurance) and FS-CD (Collections and Disbursements) modules, focusing on enhancing the finance environment for the month-end close process. Below is a detailed breakdown of the requirements and expectations:

Qualification:

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration : Configure SAP FS-RI and FS-CD modules based on design specifications, demonstrating expertise in transactions and configuration options for business processes.
• Development & Support: Analyze, develop, and support new and existing use cases, including modifying, testing, debugging, and enhancing programs.
• Data Analysis: Perform proactive data analysis, support migration loads, and create reconciliation reports for multiple integration points.
• Testing: Develop complex test scripts, coordinate test data creation, and identify/resolve configuration defects.
• Requirement Analysis: Identify functional and technical requirements through gap analysis, infrastructure, interfaces, reports, enhancements, or conversions.
• Documentation: Document architecture, standards, and design elements for new business processes and package application design.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend technology-driven solutions to address complex functional and technical gaps.
• Implementation Support : Assist with post-implementation support, cutover plans, and transition planning.

Experience:

• 5+ years of techno-functional SAP Finance experience.
• 1-3+ years of hands-on configuration experience with SAP FS-RI and FS-CD (preferred).
• Extensive experience implementing SAP FI/CO modules.
• Experience in the insurance or finance industry is preferred.
• Proven track record of providing production support, troubleshooting issues, gathering requirements, and designing solutions for enhancements.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of financial transactional flows, SAP general ledger, and reinsurance concepts (e.g., company codes, treaties, chart of accounts, coding blocks, profit centers, cost centers, ledgers, currencies).
• Ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal customization.
• Familiarity with agile software development practices, including backlog tracking, prioritization, and incremental delivery within a scrum team.

• Strong communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizations and business partners.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to work with ambiguous or incomplete information and provide logical solutions.
• Proactivity & Initiative: Demonstrate logical thinking, consultative skills, and the ability to anticipate design implications and make recommendations.
• Negotiation & Facilitation: Strong skills in building consensus and driving collaboration.

Other:

• Ability to identify interdependencies between modules to ensure development aligns with broader system needs.
• Experience using testing tools and documenting test results effectively.
