This hybrid role requires a ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations. The developer will collaborate with commonwealth personnel, business analysts, and other developers, working on core ITSM applications and custom modules. This position demands strong JavaScript and Glide API skills, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and specific ServiceNow certifications. On-site presence is required two days per week or as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Customize core ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB).
- Develop and maintain custom applications/modules using ServiceNow Studio.
- Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, and automated tasks.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics widgets.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and maintain code quality and security.
- Maintain documentation on configurations, customizations, and system architecture.
- Document all work for future reference.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and sprints.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting best practices.
- Experience with ITSM and at least one additional module (e.g., ITOM, HRSD, SPM, Source2Pay).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS- ITSM, HRSD, Discovery).
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and Flow Designer.
- Understanding of CMDB and Discovery.
- Knowledge of Employee Service Portal and custom widget development.
