TITLE: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

LOCATION : Auburn, WA

SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

PAY : $25-$26

SUMMARY:

This critical logistics position is responsible for the comprehensive management of inbound and outbound shipments. The role ensures the accuracy of all documentation, tracks and monitors shipments, and serves as the final visual validator to ensure all paperwork matches the (super sacks) before dispatch. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outbound Logistics and Documentation:

· Prepare, track, and monitor all shipping documents, including printing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other requisite shipping paperwork.

· Serve as the last point of visual validation, ensuring all outbound shipments' labels are an exact match to the corresponding shipping paperwork.

· Verify the weight of all shipments and promptly address and resolve any discrepancies.

· Secure and verify trailers, documenting conditions with required photographic evidence.

· Collaborate directly with the Shipping Lead to verify load weights before truck loading.

Coordination and Compliance:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for checking drivers in and out, ensuring all carriers complete the proper documentation.

· Verify the accuracy of all carriers and load-related paperwork.

· Maintain open and effective communication with carriers and various internal departments to ensure seamless operational flow.

· Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering strictly to established standards, procedures, and all legal regulations.

· Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Reporting Structure and Physical Requirements:

· This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager.

· The role requires the ability to stand on flat surfaces for extended periods of time.

REQUIREMENT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

· Data Proficiency: Data Entry Skills, Data Processing, and Reporting abilities.

· Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail for validating critical shipment information.

· Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a similar logistics or administrative role.

· Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in dispatching and warehouse activities.

· Office Suite Knowledge, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge is helpful.

· Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
