Spiritual Care Counselor / Hospice ChaplainPart-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm At Interim HealthCare, we believe care goes beyond the clinical—it reaches the heart. As a Spiritual Care Counselor / Hospice Chaplain, you’ll provide compassionate spiritual support to hospice patients and their families, helping them find comfort, meaning, and peace through every stage of their journey. As a Spiritual Care Counselor / Hospice Chaplain, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Assess and support the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families
• Provide or coordinate spiritual services in line with each patient’s beliefs and preferences
• Participate in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings to help shape holistic plans of care
• Conduct or coordinate religious services, memorials, and family celebrations as requested
• Serve as a liaison and resource for community clergy and spiritual counselors
• Document visits, communications, and care plans accurately and promptly
• Offer education and guidance to staff and volunteers on spiritual aspects of hospice care

A few must-haves for our Spiritual Care Counselor / Hospice Chaplain:

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (MDiv required)
• Completion of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent theological training required
• At least one year of Hospice experience required
• Experience supporting individuals and families through grief, loss, and end-of-life care
• Compassionate listener with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
