Position Summary

Safely operate a paratransit vehicle using an assigned passenger schedule to determine route; pick up transport and drop off persons whose disabilities prevent them from using fixed-route bus service; work odd shifts weekends and special events.

This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

Minimum Education Experience And Additional Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or successful completion of one (1) WorkKeys Skills Assessments (listed below).
• Experience in driving an Americans with Disabilities (ADA) accessible vehicle is preferred.

• Graphic Literacy with a minimum score of Level 3

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a valid New Mexico Drivers License or the ability to obtain by date of hire.

Possession of a valid City Operators Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.

Must pass physical exam and required drug testing and successfully complete Sun Van Chauffeur training.
