Job Description

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE WITH TIG AND MIG WELDING.

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder for a manufacturer of large industrial laundry machines in Hutchins, TX.

Schedule: Full Time (6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Friday)

Requirements for TIG/MIG Welder:

2 years or more of experience with MIG/TIG welding, using (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel)
Pass a drug screen and background check
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to use power and hand tools
Experience operating a forklift
Experience operating overhead cranes
Prior experience in roles such as Welder/Fabricator, Combination Welder, TIG/MIG Welder, Production Welder, Structural Welder, Fitter/Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Custom Fabrication Welder, or Metal Fabricator/Welder is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the TIG/MIG Welder:

Set up and maintain workstations
Accurately read blueprints for various assemblies
TIG/MIG weld small and large metals (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel) components
Operate overhead cranes & forklifts
Operate power and small hand tools (Ex. drills, grinders, plasma torch, etc.)
Evaluate work and repair any flaws found
Accurately use a tape measure to assure the accuracy of parts being produced
