Description Immediately Hiring! Warehouse Worker in Sparks, NV Day Shift - Monday - Friday, 630AM to 3PM , over time as needed. Pay rate: $21.84 per hour As a
Warehouse Worker you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities - Follow established procedures to safely unload various pallets, totes, drums, etc.
- Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Receive and put away inventory following established processes.
- Follow all dock and safety procedures associated with entering trailers.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Perform drops/replenishments to required standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Pick orders in detail picking, full pallet picks or small parcel picks (including packing) timely to meet production standards in lines/hr or pieces/hr.
- Communicate with site leadership and other team members verbally and with email.
- Assist with training other employees.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications - Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions issued in written and verbal English
- Basic computer skills and ability to use computer programs and RF Guns
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and record progress
- Ability to learn, master and practice safe material handling techniques
- Ability to complete required safety training
- Capability of working in a Non-Temperature controlled environment
- Wearing of protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts (stand up and sitdown), and other equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership over area of responsibility
- Capability of working with limited supervision
- Availability to work overtime and some Saturdays
