**Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on various machines to keep production moving. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and adjust PLC to working parameters. Engage in preventative maintenance and fabrication, including welding tasks. Work comfortably with specific PLCs. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on various machines to keep production moving. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and adjust PLCs to working parameters. + Work on a team of five mechanics to meet maintenance needs. + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, welding, and fabrication. + Maintain and troubleshoot gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, and other facility equipment. + Use computers and machine interfaces to access, maintain, and acquire data. + Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data. + Provide technical support to suggest areas for potential efficiency improvement. + Identify and locate required repair parts for failed systems. + Cross-train other technicians in a timely and professional manner. + Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete repairs safely and promptly. + Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and machine operation. + Maintain and update accurate electronic files and records. + Communicate technical problems and issues affecting plant performance to management. + Install, modify, set up, and qualify new or relocated equipment. + Dismantle assemblies using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools to remove defective parts. + Occasionally work overtime, call-ins, and scheduled weekend shifts. **Work Environment** + The work environment is clean + Candidates must be bilingual (english & spanish) + The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM + The position requires occasional overtime, call-ins, and some scheduled weekend work. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
