The Regional Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing comprehensive training programs for nursing staff, with a focus on ensuring competence and proficiency in caring for adults with serious and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical problems. This includes designing and delivering training sessions, evaluating training effectiveness, and providing ongoing support and education to nursing staff to meet the unique needs of the patient population served. The Regional Nurse Educator also collaborates with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that nursing staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high - qu ality care in a compassionate and patient - centered manner.
