Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake/ETL Developer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL/Python, and experience architecting data pipelines across cloud environments.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Snowflake/ETL Developer Job Responsibilities Include

  • Design and develop scalable ETL solutions to integrate and transform data across multiple sources for data lakes, marts, and warehouses.
  • Perform data analysis and profiling using data cataloging and quality tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop scripts and workflows using SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
  • Architect and optimize data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, prepare technical design documents, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Provide production support and manage change processes using tools like ServiceNow and Agile platforms (JIRA), including UAT execution and status reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on ETL development and data management.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL/Python for designing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ability to architect scalable data solutions.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $54.00 per hour
