We are an expanding Wholesale Plant Nursery looking to build a great team. At Pond View Gardens we specialize in growing Perennials and Hydrangeas. We are currently hiring for multiple Nursery Assistant positions for this upcoming season. These positions will be primarily accountable for operational tasks at the nursery including watering and plant production.
Position: Nursery Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (March 1-Ocober 31)
Full-Time Hours: 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM. 5 Days a Week. At least 1 weekend day required.
Part-Time Hours: 8:00 AM start. At least 20 hours/week. At least 1 weekend day required.
4 Major Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Hand watering perennials
2. Loading orders onto delivery trucks
3. Plant Production- Filling pots with soil, potting up plugs and bare root material, fertilizing
4. Spacing and Pruning- An ongoing task for both Perennials and Hydrangeas
